Criminal record and Law School acceptance
I have two misdemeanors that are both alcohol related. I got them over 10 years ago. Has anyone else had experience with this? I fear it will have a big impact on my acceptance. I'll be taking the LSAT in September and I'm enrolled in a prep course. Luckily, I'm improving nicely so I'm hoping with my GPA and LSAT score will help, but I still fear the worst.

minimal impact
edit for more clarification: for something that long ago, it'd have to be something more serious, at the minimum selling illicit drugs or something. sounds like it was public intoxication or something similar, so it shouldn't be an issue. just full disclosure, high lsat/gpa, and you'll be fine.

I had C&F issues when I applied as well, including alcohol violations as recently as 2012. Did not seem to affect my cycle at all. As encore said, make sure you disclose fully.

Just be honest about them, tell them you learned, and it will probably not effect you in any way. Good luck studying for the LSAT
