So far best place to accept me was Davis, and UCLA & Berkley turned me down. What do you guys think my chances are for Irvine?

Good chance because of your GPA, but don't expect much money. Add last cycle to the graph below.

UCLA with a 15k scholarship is a risky move. Irvine at sticker is crazy. Please don't do it. There is a very real chance you will not find any legal job to help pay off the 250k you'll be borrowing.

And when you look at the LST reports remember that the class of 2012 only had 56 graduates. Its one thing for the faculty to push judges and firms really hard to fire 56 students, but it won't happen with your class which will probably be around 130 students (maybe more). And the job data wasn't that great even for class of 2012.

you can still retake in June without even taking off a cycle… if you increase by a relatively marginal amount you could easily get a six figure scholly. If 100k+ isn't worth a couple months of your time studying for a 100 question standardized test, your time must be pretty valuable.

And this isn't like saying to retake for a scholly at for instance NYU, where, yeah, sure it's expensive, but you'll probably end up with a big law job. At UCI you will be entering the horrid california legal market, with students from Stanford, Berkeley, UCLA, USC, and other T14s taking almost all of the desirable jobs. You will be racking up tens of thousands of dollars of debt to attend a law school that will probably not place you in a job to pay it back. Just letting you know.
