did you write an addendum/have a legitimate reason for the low GPA?

I wrote an addendum, but it just said the truth which is that I was immature and didn't study well. Now it's 10 years later and I'm better at life. Course difficulty with technical major also made a bad problem worse.

You'll likely get admitted somewhere in the T14.
You sound tailor made for NU: Low gpa, High LSAT, work experience.
You actually have a shot at Berkeley. I know that Boalt has a reputation for prizing GPA, but they occasionally make exceptions for engineering majors with IP experience. You're not likely to be admitted to Boalt, but it could happen.

I would be thrilled with Berkeley. Great IP school. Would also be thrilled with NU--the AJD program is very attractive since I'm ~30 and would like to get my JD and get back to work. To later responses, Georgetown is another of my top choices.

You will 100% get into Northwestern. Everywhere else is a crapshoot.

Gtown isn't worth it because OP will almost certainly get into NU. UVA is possible but sketchy with a sub 3.0 GPA. It's worth the app fee if OP wants it, but NU is a solid option.
ETA: I don't know about Penn, but OP could probably snag something random NYU on down. That LSAT plus the time since undergrad makes OP hard to predict, but it's possible OP could only get NU and GULC, and NU is TCR in that case.

I'd probably ED to UVA with an RD to NU as a backup, but that's only because to me, cville >>>>>>>>> chicago.
but obviously that's not everyone.
