Pretty much 100% to any other school in Texas unless your PS offends them or something.

~50%.

You have a great GPA. Why not retake the LSAT and get t14 with money or HYS?

Well, I'd recommend you reconsider that. Your GPA can get you into any school and a full ride to a good majority of schools. It'd be worth it to sit out and take the LSAT again.

Definitely retake and set your sights higher than UT.

If you're not motivated enough to retake the LSAT then I don't like your chances of being motivated enough to get the grades in law school that you would need to get a job that could pay off all the debt that you would accumulate by going to law school with those numbers.

If you truly cannot take the LSAT again, you can apply to a school like SMU or UofH. If you apply for the Sumner's scholar at SMU, you'd probably get it. You'll at least get a half ride at SMU, if not the full Sumner's.

Naw, no such thing as "truly cannot retake."

Retake the LSAT, OP.

marginally better = 2 points = median = in @ UT with $$

Take it into your own hands

Retake. Easiest $100K or more you'll ever make.

What are you afraid of? If you scored lower than 164 the effect it would have on your chances at U of Texas or U of Houston would be negligible. If you did marginally better then you'd be looking at more scholarship money and better schools you could gain admittance to so you would have much better options.

Yep, this cycle - was out of state and RD. LSAT slightly higher than yours, GPA slightly below.

Good luck though! Texas is tough when you're out of state, unfortunately.
