Just look at the current medians dude. You are over both for every single law school. So yes, apply to every top school, however you define that. Top 6 at a minimum.

Seriously? Yes.

Nobody gets Yale, that's true. But if you don't get in it's not going to be because of your numbers, and you never know what the person reading your file is going to think of you. Is forever wondering if you could have gotten into Yale worth saving $100 to you?

Nope. If you have this sort of pessimistic attitude now you'll never get in, even when you're above both medians.

Oh, I like this

As much as I appreciate Ke$ha the artist, I do not think I like this original poster

Don't apply because you suck. Not because of your numbers but because of your shameless humblebrag that's douchey even for TLS standards.

How can someone so apparently intelligent be such a moron?

Don't apply. Our douchebag quota has already been met.

Wow, apparently I pressed some buttons here. Look, I'm new to this whole admissions forum thing, so I'm sorry if it came over douchy. $100 is actually a lot of money to me, and I was genuinely unsure if I had any chance at all. Maybe, as some of you not so kindly pointed out, I need to work on my confidence.

Anyway, sorry to have ruffled feathers. Thank you for the advice, and I wish you all the best in your own admissions process.

The question at face value is innocent enough. But would the advice of a group of anonymous people on a message board be enough to sway you to spend $100 (which you say is a lot of money to you; Yale does provide need-based fee waivers)?

Yes, I actually thought it would help. I mean, why is anyone here if not to get advice from other people in the same situation? I don't know many people who are applying to law school, so I thought it might help to ask online. And it has been pretty helpful, actually, though perhaps not in the way I thought it would be.

But since it seems like this is pissing people off, I'm just gonna go ahead and delete the original post. Again, no bad intentions, and best wishes to all of you.

Wait. People like Ke$ha?

Also, this thread was definitely obnoxious. I'm glad it has been deleted.
