Your chances with numbers that low are not worth considering

Follow these guides http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 6&t=200917 and don't retake until you are practice testing in at least the 160s

You absolutely must retake the LSAT. It's a huge part of admissions decisions and you will have to study for it and take it seriously.

You need to retake, but I don't know if retaking it this December is a good option. When did you first take the LSAT? It might be best for you to sit out this cycle.

What type of URM are you? With just a 10 point improvement you can be be looking at good money at most Louisiana schools, I'd think.

I don't understand what goes through people's brains when they believe their applications are solid, but they just have low GPA's and LSAT scores. It seems like a free agent in baseball saying, "I think I'm going to do great on the open market this year. I just have a sub .200 batting average, no power numbers and can't play good defense. I am great at press conferences though, and always use Tide detergent on my uniform."

I'm not usually one to follow the typical TLS rhetoric of retake, retake, retake but yea you're looking at bottom level tier 4s at best without scholly. Retaking is a must in this situation.

You probably couldn't even get into Cooley with those numbers.

I agree, as tiring as that rhetoric is, it makes very little sense to pay for law school when your odds at employment after graduation are not good. Softs probably won't make any different at those numbers.

Sitting this cycle out will give you almost a full year before the October LSAT, which is early enough to apply and still be earlyish in the cycle. Then you could do a retake in December if things aren't QUITE where you want to them be at that point with your LSAT, but you've improved a lot in a year.

Good luck OP!
