sup folks,
as noted in the subject i've got a 3.63 gpa and a 174 lsat
however, my gpa in community college was a 3.55, while i worked 60-70 hrs per week
my gpa at uc berkeley is a 3.76. i've got a pretty great resume, compelling personal statement about overcoming financial difficulties, and very good letters of rec. What do you think my odds are:
of admission to H, Y, S, Columbia?
of admission to Chicago and NYU?
of getting good $ at duke or georgetown or cornell?
thanks guys

I wouldn't know then :/. i think your best bet is to apply and wait. You seem relatively set for NYU and columbia id think.

1) chance at Harvard and Columbia (more at CLS than H), YS are out
2) Chicago is possible but far from secure since you're below their GPA 25th. Your extenuating personal circumstances could play some mitigating role here. NYU is nearly guaranteed
3) You'll probably get in the $75-90K range at the lower T14
good luck!

I don't think op is out of Y/S given his/her unique circumstances. S/he could be the only t14 applicant this cycle with such experiences and I think both Yale and Stanford are also actively pursuing income diversity.

It's definitely worth it to apply to Yale and Stanford. You're not an auto-reject.
