I have an 170 and a "superior" (graduated from a foreign UG), what are my chances? Was planning on retake, but thought why not apply this year anyway.

Difficult to say, but you'll very likely be in at the T14. If you're an international student, you may have difficulty getting significant scholarship money to justify attending, though.

I was 170+/-and "above average" I applied pretty late but am currently at a lower t14. There's a uk or foreign student thread on here somewhere that was helpful to me when I was applying. One thing that I think is crucial for foreign educated student is to make a personal connection with an alum etc. from the school you want to go to. Not only do you add diversity but you show initiative etc.
