What are the odds

I got my LSAT score back and wasn't too happy. I had averaged around 170 during PTs so it wasn't that much higher, but enough that it would have made me less anxious about this process!
I'm comtemplating a December retake but I was wondering what others thought my chances with my current numbers are for HYSCCN?

Retake. You have a decent shot at CCN but HYS are probably a reach. Retake and get 169+ to make HYS a lock with money.

HYS don't do merit aid.

OP has a shot at every school. Retaking and scoring higher would increase her chances, but AA's with her numbers have a shot everywhere.

no need to retake unless you want to go to Yale. I think you have a great chance/lock at Columbia & Chicago at a pretty good one at HS.

Thanks for the advice! I feel a lot better. My main reason for going with what I have now is that I would want to take advantage of being an early applicant (not ED!). If I did retake it, and got the same thing would my odds for acceptance go down as we got further and further into the admissions cycle?

To some extent, yes, but scoring a point or two higher would be more worthwhile than applying early, especially if you can break 170.
