158/ 3.8 GPA URM

Greetings everyone,
I have been debating for about 48 hours now about which option I should take with my current numbers
(158 / 3.8 GPA from Rutgers NB undergrad)
option 1 -- retake in December, apply late this cycle
option 2 -- stick with these numbers and apply to RU-newark, similar schools.
option 3 -- retake in February/June and apply next cycle
Background info: overage practice tests have been around 161, highest ever being a 163. I took a prep course already as well. I am a Puerto Rican URM with typical softs including internships, involvement with orgs on campus, few academic recognitions. I really do need scholarships for law school (I went to the school I attend now for undergrad with a full tuition scholarship).
Is it realistic to think I can do better than a 158, and is a jump to a 162 significantly going to impact my chances positively?
