4.0, 173 (162)

Don't berate me for that first score, please. The facility was terrible (they were literally jackhammering the wall of the testing room).
So, with a 4.0 GPA and a 173, how do you tls folks think that 162 will affect my chances? I'm looking at T14. Not a URM. Am I a lost cause? I'm considering an addendum, but I don't want to look like a complainer.

It probably won't affect you at all. If it does, it might be a little bit negative at HYS.

Pretty much no one averages, but 11 points is quite a bit. A short addendum may be appropriate.
Anyway, you've got a good shot across the board--except maybe Y. Check out mylsn.info for specific percentages.

TLS does not think you're a bad person for scoring a ____. TLS is not judging you for scoring a ____. TLS will not berate you for scoring a ____. TLS WILL, however, berate you for ignoring the immense benefits that come from retaking and scoring even a couple of points higher, especially when ____ is in the 160s.
You, OP, are a poster child for the TLS "retake!" chorus. Congratulations!

My apologies if I sounded presumptuous. I've come to expect the worst from the people of the Internet.
Thanks for the advice, everyone. Is there anybody that can offer any further feedback as to whether an addendum is appropriate?

no one averages. I say you’re in at H and S and Y will depend on your 250/letters/other “holistic” measures Asha deems relevant. Enjoy the cycle!
