3.45/172 AA Male, when to send out apps?

Just got my October scores back and went from a 159 last December to a 172. I'm half AA. While posting in the URM forum a few months ago I was given the advice to hold off on sending my apps out until after this semester for a GPA boost. Though it's not guaranteed, I'm currently on track to do so with potential for a 3.5+ when transcripts are updated in late December/early January. I wanted to see how other posters feel about this advice. Would I be better off waiting and potentially receiving a slight GPA boost, or submitting my apps 2 months earlier than when my transcripts will be updated? I'm currently writing my PS and should be done in 1-2 weeks.
Also, general chances for T-14 would be great.

Apply ASAP!!!
with your stats, timing is more important than .05 GPA
send updated transcripts when you get grades.

It almost doesn't matter. You've got a good shot anywhere either way.

Yeah they're gonna find a spot for you either way. I'd send my app now and then send an updated transcript later.
