I have very similar numbers as you. 3.82 and 172. Chinese American too, lol. Chances look pretty good for big $$ especially at lower t-14 at that level. (Not sure how to post the charts from LSN, but check them out if you haven't already)

I'm wondering if ED somewhere would be a good option for me? Maybe Upenn? Columbia?

I wouldn't ED because then you ruin your chances at getting money. Apply to the entire
t14 and see what happens.

NEW QUESTION: Will it be worth it if I retake my LSAT next year (probably June, because I don't think I can improve my score much if I retake it in this Dec) and apply next year?

Thx.

A 173 puts you into consideration for HLS. A 175 puts you into consider territory for 1/2-ride from Columbia. If you're looking to minimize debt, you're in the range where ED to Northwestern (which comes with the full-ride) would be a option worth exploring - you're above both medians.

As it is, you're probably going to get some nice $$$ offers from the lower T-14, and possibly some $ from 4th-9th as well. I don't see a harm in applying this year.
