3.89 GPA and 167 LSAT - chances into UCLA?

I've got a 3.89 GPA from a liberal arts college and a LSAT score of 150 on record from December last year. I applied to UCLA last cycle with that 150 (I wasn't thinking straight) and very surprisingly got into their waitlist instead of getting a straight out denial, and I'm wondering if that somehow works as an indicator that a 167 on the December LSAT for me is a pretty good chance into UCLA. I'm sorry I'm asking my chances before even getting that 167, but I just wanted to see where I should be looking at and what my goal score should be so that I can accordingly adjust my expectation/plan.

You're wasting that GPA. A few more points on the LSAT and you're looking at a lot more money and top T6/T3 acceptances.

Yea you're in with $ at UCLA with a 3.89 and 167.

Probably in at Cornell, Georgetown, Michigan, potentially Berkeley, as well, with decent shot at Duke, ect.

Even with a late application (December/January)?

Berkelely seems to be a bit of a black box of its own when it comes to admissions, so bagelboy is right about in saying "potentially" there. That said UCLA isn't a bad school especially if you want to be in (Southern) California, but if it was me I would gun for Berk.

Edit: Just saw you don't have a 167 yet...

You should get a better LSAT score and go to these schools for free.
