Top Law Schools

I know its a reach, but has anyone heard of similar scores being accepted? I applied ED.

haha thanks for the original advice there, nova. No retaking. That 160 was a retake and going through the whole process of studying for a month again is not in the cards. on here really looking to hear if someone knows about below median admits at Texas.

I don't see any GPA where this becomes a possibility, unless you are an URM.

gpa is 3.75..... white male. I am a veteran, though I think the URM status is looking for other things (race, sexuality....) I appreciate the honest assessment, though. Thank you!

If you think the LSAT only merits one month of study, well, there's your problem. One month of study for a 160 probably translates to 6 months for a 166+, which is what you would need to be a lock at UT.

URM really just refers to race. Vet status typically provides a boost, but not enough of one in your case. Sorry, dude. Your choices are likely A) retake or B) go to a different law school.

It's your call obviously, but know that most people here put in way more than a month of LSAT prep. That's really not a lot, and it certainly shouldn't be enough to burn you out.

Sure. But we're telling you man, this isn't like college. It's not like you are seriously going to be evaluated on the merits of your application unless you hit a certain LSAT/GPA range.

You have good grades from school, and it would be a shame to have one test put you back so far from your goals after all that hard work and your service in the military.

Best of luck to you either way, but I'd give another try at the exam some serious consideration.

i would honestly still register for december and either update apps or just withdraw and sit out for the cycle. you can vastly improve your chances both at acceptances and getting good money from schools - that 3.75 can open a lot of doors for you with a solid lsat. there are some good lsat guides on here that can help you through as well.
