DUI 2 years ago, 3.17, 170 LSAT- chances?

I got a DUI sophomore year that resulted in my dismissal from an abnormally religious school who required me to withdraw from the semester. Since then, I have made the deans list every semester and have a UGPA of 3.8, although my LSAC GPA is a 3.17. I have decent softs: investment analyst intern, and assistant debate coach for a local high school. Do I have a chance at cracking the T14?? Should I address my progress in my PS or save for the addendum? Thanks!!

I've seen users claim to get in with a single DUI, and that it isn't a major issue unless you show a repeated pattern of drinking problems, like multiple DUIs or other alcohol or drug related offenses. I don't know how your situation would play out with the transfer, but it's probably not as bad as you'd imagine.

Write a great addendum and I think you'll be okay. 3.17/170 means you are quite a splitter and might want to even consider a retake if you want the shot at the lower T14, but I wouldn't count yourself out because of the DUI. Agreed with SteelPenguin-- I've seen (arguably) worse than DUI's get in.
