Took June 2013 got a 159
Retaking in October, shooting for 165, steady getting ~162 on practice tests

Chances of Early Decision to Brooklyn Law School?

Looking to apply in New York City.... Cardozo, Fordham, Cuny Law??

Suggestions appreciated

Wait why is what undergrad relevant here? What are you trying to ask?

Don't stop studying until you are consistently 170. Do not go to any of these schools without significant scholarship money, and do not ed under any circumstances.

You're asking the two least relevant questions at this point...

More relevant question might be, what type of law do you want to practice? Large firms, broad strokes speaking, dont hire from those schools, so BLS and CUNY are only realistic options with near full scholarship/no stips and the goal to work as a PD, a local county clerk, or a small firm in a niche practice area like family law (these jobs pay in the $40-50K/yr range, which is liveable but not with debt).

If you are interested in fed gov work, a large firm, legal academia, or a prestigious public interest group like NAACP or AFLCIO, your target NY schools will be Cornell, NYU, and Columbia. Cornell and NYU are both achievable with a 170 LSAT.

If you love NYC, the correct response is to study to get a 170 and go to Cornell with hopefully a reasonable scholarship. Then spend 3 years not in the city before spending your future balling it up wherever you like. Failing that, Fordham is a reasonable choice, but only with a decent scholarship.

As is with 159, you're out at Fordham and Cardozo, and in at CUNY with probably some form of scholarship. EDing Brooklyn would be a poor plan.

No matter what you do, don't apply to Brooklyn ED. Retake and go to a respectable school with $$$.
