It's irrelevant, your just eating app fees if you apply before killing a retake. Don't waste the gpa.

I guess you are right.. but It is interesting to see where I stand in the minds of these schools currently.

Eh, I think it's dangerous. God forbid you actually get into one of them and they sell you on actually attending. Scary.

You'll be in at FSU and UF but paying sticker. None of the other schools on the list matter if you want to practice in Florida.

A few more points will net you 45k at FSU and 36k at UF but you should shoot for the T14.

With your current stats you should only attend UF/FSU with a scholarship and intention to work in Florida.

Please, do not hesitate to retake again in December if needed. It will not hurt you in any significant way.

You are at 75% GPA and below 25% LSAT so no.

FSU's medians are 157-162 so you might have a chance at some schollies there. As for UF, you are below the 25% on LSAT , though not by much, so scholarships are less likely. Both schools are hella cheap compared to other law schools, so sticker--while still not preferable--isn't as dangerous as it sounds.

My bad I was speaking only to UF. He's above 75% and at 25% at FSU though, not much of a change.

You've been around long enough to know how to use mylsn.info, c'mon. Your chances at most of those schools are currently not very good.

I would have had something close to a 3.97 if I did not take college courses during high school like an idiot. worst mistake of my life. will definitely be writing an addendum :)

Yeah it's not going to help and is totally unnecessary.

why unnecessary? I think my failures in dual enrollment call for the addendum. I got 4 b's and ever since I actually got into Uni, I enver got below an A-

4 whole Bs? The horror!

Seriously though, don't write one. There's nothing to explain away and even if it was possible to write an addendum that could explain it away, you would almost certainly fall flat on your face and look worse in the process.

Good luck on the retake!

I can tell you this, writing an addendum will do more harm than good.

For fun, I've added my predictions to your OP.

Also, I'd write that addendum. Yes, you might look like a douche for trying to explain the shortcomings of your strong GPA. Nevertheless, if there is a reason that your GPA is not all that it could be (and there is as you likely weren't prepared to take your courses as serious as you might have and/or you were not fully prepared to do well on these courses) you owe it to yourself to explain this.

No, that last post is bad advice on the addendum. This is not even close to being an addendum-worthy situation. Thousands of other applicants have the same issue, and adcomms can read a transcript.
