Just curious what my chances are for T14 schools. My dream school is NYU but I realize that may be out of the question

Definitely worth applying since you never know, but you're realistically looking at the lower part of the T14. If you can get that LSAT above 170 it could seriously help though... Gaining just 2 or 3 points would be huge. See below:

These numbers are getting DCNG and sometimes M these days.

With the cycles I saw this year, I'm starting to doubt the accuracy of the predictor tools that rely on far more competitive years' data

Those graphs are only using the data from this cycle and last cycle.

Changing it to just this cycle and broadening the gpa range changes it a little, but not by much:

You're right Lav, I should rephrase...but essentially it shows what I said, DCNG and sometimes Michigan. Northwestern is a more splitter friendly school so the 170 is a little more key, but I've seen a bunch of kids get off the WL there with these kinds of numbers

also its such a small sample size it hardly bears relevance for an analysis

A 170 can get you NYU. Retake.

thanks guys for your input. Do you think I would have a good shot at Duke, or is that a reach as well? I know some people who got in with lower LSAT scores but I've heard Duke is somewhat difficult to get into.
