You have a chance, sure, but not a lock. About as many people were rejected as were admitted with your numbers.

I would start studying now and retake in October or December if I were you. 170+ and you could go to a T13 w/ $. If you still decide you wanted USC at that point, you could attend on a large scholarship. Even if you only go up one or two points, not only will you be a lock at USC but you'll probably get some $ too. 166 is that tricky hump where based on previous cycles, your getting full rides at T30's but hitting WL's at the USC/UCLA/Vandy level.

Could only help your chances to retake and aim for at least a few more points.

Assuming USC keeps their 167 median, even 1 more point would make a world of difference

if you have a retake left FUCKING DO IT. I'm WL'd at USC with a 3.6/166 and I'm a USC grad. No joke if I got 1 more question right on the LSAT I would be in with 75k scholly, that's how badly they're trying to keep the 167 median. If you think "no it can't make THAT much of a difference, it's only 1 question!" go to the USC applicants for this cycle thread (http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 7&t=194761) and read through it. As others have said you have a chance and if apps continue to fall you may even get in outright, but definitely get the 167 if you can because its not worth the stress of waiting until July/August (USC has the slowest admissions office of any school I applied to this year by far, they were still giving out initial decisions in June)

You are playing with house money man. Why wouldn't you retake?

Any student that was smart enough to take in June and not wait until October should be smart enough to give October a go too :)

Good luck!
