Your chances are good, especially if you are a resident.

You should apply to CCN MVPB DNGC and any regional school you are interested in.

If I were you Id throw an app to HS too.

I am by no means an expert and I believe others here are more knowledgeable but I would say you have an incredibly good chance.

UNC by some regulation has to admit a certain number of North Carolina natives. I think the mix is some where between 75%instate to 70%in state.

With your numbers I would suggest you to apply to the T14 and see where you could possibly get in. If your set on North Carolina then try to send an application to Duke.

Congrats on that LSAT score

but seriously, send out apps to some T14 schools, and educate yourself on the employment statistics of UNC vs some better ranked schools that your numbers could definitely get you in

You shouldn't have any trouble getting UNC with those numbers, but you should aim higher. For reference, I am 170/3.5 and got into UNC with a chancellors scholars program invite (full tuition). If your heart is set on UNC, you should not go without a CSP award.

Placement rates coming out of UNC (check LST) aren't great compared to other schools you will be able to get into. You should definitely be applying to T14.

Aim higher with that LSAT

Any reason you're wanting to attend UNC over Duke? You're Duke-bound with those numbers. Good luck.

You're a shoe-in at UNC, and probably a shoe-in at Duke as well.

You could also consider delaying graduation to up your GPA if it will help you to eclipse some critical percentile (like the 25th percentile of Duke for example). Your LSAT gives you a strong shot at every law school, and your GPA is the only thing holding you back. Once you graduate, that GPA is locked in, so if you're up for delaying graduation, you could tangibly increase your chances for both admission and scholarship at top law schools.

unless you are being forced by other circumstances, don't go to UNC with those numbers

Chances are great. I got in with a 167 3.65. You should go to Duke instead though.
