I will probably retake just to help with scholarships...but do I NEED to retake to be considered for Vandy?

Probably don't NEED too...but a few more points will get you a shit ton more money from any school with that gpa.

One more point would probably get you 70k at Vandy. Two more points. = 90k, 3 more points = 110k.

Purely anecdotal, but I got in 2 years ago with a 165/4.0 and got $45k in scholarship. I imagine admissions standards are a little more lax with the plummet in applications so I'd say you're likely to get into Vandy and probably get some decent scholarship.

45K at Vandy is not "decent" IMO. Way too expensive to attend with only 45K.

OP, retake! And then aim higher. Sky's the limit with that awesome gpa!

I got 75K from vandy with similar numbers
