Median LSAT at GULC dropping?

I've noticed on LSN that people with 162/3.6+ have been getting wait listed at GULC. Does this mean that their median is going to drop and that it is easier to get in? I'm taking the LSAT in June and applying to schools this fall. Will this trend continue? I'm planning on EDing to a T14. How much of a boost does ED at GU?

Why so intent on EDing??? Get great LSAT -----> Do NOT ED -----> Scoop in $$$ from T14 -----> Profit

What I am trying to say is that for some people EDing makes sense. But they only know after they get a score, and you should not be thinking, without an LSAT, of EDing. Score high and get $

Okay, I guess I shouldn't have included the last part since I don't even know my score yet.

What I'm primarily asking, is the median LSAT score at GULC and other top schools dropping? I've noticed a trend in this cycle where top schools such as GU are WLing Non-URM 162's and schools like BU/BC are accepting Non-URMs with 161s.

Don't do it. GU ED sounds like an utterly desperate T14 prestige whore. They place pretty shitty actually. Apply to a lot of schools and get scholarship money to bargain with and weigh your options.

I would bet against GULC's LSAT median dropping below 169

I went to an event for alumni/admitted students and Dean Farnsworth was there and an alumnus asked if the school would decrease class size or allow for another median drop. The dean said they could not afford to decrease enrollment because Georgetown has the smallest endowment of any top school (other than Cornell which is considerably smaller) and basically that they need the money. He said the median for this year's class will be "168 or 169." This was before their whole merit aid fiasco. There is no doubt in my mind that the median will drop to at least a 168 and given what they have been pulling maybe even a 167.

Anyone else think GULC could rank outside of the T14 this year? (Obviously not lower than 15 or 16.)

UCLA , Vandy, UT, and ASU are definitely on GULCs heels.

Of the "finalists" the vast majority (maybe all?) were lowballed, the rest were chosen as "alternates" and offered nothing.

It is unlikely that GTown would fall out. Almost all law schools are experiencing drops in applications, and many of them (especially those with class sizes around 200 or lower) cannot afford to cut class sizes anymore.

On a different note, I imagine that splitters will start being more successful at schools other than UVA.

Interesting that Georgetown's large class size to compensate for a lower endowment also contributes to their lower employment stats.

Irony in its purest form.

Not really a fiasco in Georgetown's case. Happens every year.
