Chances at T14

Yes, I know this is just another "chances at T14" post but if you can help, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I've got a 175 LSAT score, but a 3.6 GPA in Accounting from the University of Florida...so there's a GPA issue here. Though, I did end freshman year with a 3.0, so there's a clear upward trend.
I graduated with a dual bachelors/masters in Accounting and have 3+ years of accounting work experience; rose to senior associate at KPMG.
My ec's are pretty good: I was an accounting intern at UF throughout college (worked 30+ hours a week to put myself through school), I've had a scholarly article published in Security Studies, was cited in an international relations textbook, member of the archery team, and was a state-level operative on 2 presidential campaigns, among other things.
Truth be told, my goals are HYSC but I'm not sure how realistic those schools are given my low GPA. I plan on applying to all of the T14 (and UF) for the next admissions cycle. Please give me a realistic assessment of my chances.
Thanks again!

You have a real good shot everywhere besides HYS.

You're in everywhere Columbia and down, with decent money at the lower T14. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if you snuck into Harvard next admissions cycle. It's definitely worth an app.

I got money at UVA with the same GPA and a lower LSAT (non-URM)

Very likely out at Berkeley and not the greatest shot at Chicago. Probably in at the rest, unless he receives the YP treatment.

True, I always forget to factor in the GPA whores. I soon expect that Boalt will have to start loosening their GPA requirement and start bring more splitter friendly.

EDing Northwestern wouldn't be the worst idea and I think you'd have a really good shot at the 150k scholly.

Don't even bother with UF. And I think ED Northwestern would be a wise decision.

Thanks for all the input. Also, I have the option of staying on at KPMG for 2 more years and rising to the Tax Manager position. By doing so, I'd have been out of school working for 5 years. Would that boost my chances at HYS or should I not even bother? Thanks again.

If you know you want to go to law school, I would say don't bother. With your background you can apply to B-schools to try to back door your way into Stanford, Chicago, or Harvard.

Who knows. In 2 years H's GPA floor may soften up a lot by then. No shot at YS IMO no matter what you do.
