They did you a favor. Now you don't have to go to GULC

edit: based on bad information...

The bigger question is, if accepted, are you sure you want to pay sticker price there?

GULC at sticker seems like a bad financial decision. http://www.lstscorereports.com/?school=gulc

I was put on the preferred waitlist but withdrew before GULC rendered a decision. However, I know of two people who were actually accepted off of the preferred waitlist. Regardless, sticker at GULC is probably not a good idea.

The 3.66 is potentially median GPA this cycle, which could be why you are being waitlisted with below last year's median GPA/LSAT. If you end up being >=median, you could get an acceptance paired with a >50% LSAT <50%GPA. Your LSAT may also end up at 25% this cycle as well.

@50%GPA, @25%LSAT --> possible late acceptance.

The bigger question is, if accepted, are you sure you want to pay sticker price there?
I'm fortunate in that my tuition will be covered by family so yes I would pay sticker

Will your parents adopt me?

GULC at sticker is risky (and I'm one of the few TLSers who likes the school and is actually considering it). Do your family a favor and make a sound financial decision for them.

Or if they are that stinking rich then just milk it and be a trust fund kid. YOLO.

Step 1: Be born a non-URM, score a sub-167 LSAT, and accummulate a sub-3.7 GPA.
Step 2: Apply to Georgetown.
Step 3: Based on a super-scientific algorithm (some combination of the adcomm's gut feeling, your astrological sign, and whatever card they draw from the Tarot deck or faith crystal they pick up from the pile) you will be waitlisted, special waitlisted, preferred waitlisted, special-preferred waitlisted, or whatever else they hell they do.
Step 4: Retake/reapply or go somewhere else for hella cheap.

But OP has a 3.6, not a 3.66.

Also, OP, regardless of whether your parents are paying or whether you sneak into GT off the WL, you should retake. GT probably gives you about a 50% chance of a good outcome. That's pretty low. The reason it gives such crappy chances is because GT has a massively bloated class of 700 (including the 100 transfers they take, diluting its students' chances at decent employment further) people. GT should have a class half the size. Otherwise it's just another TTT diploma mill.
