LionelHutzJD wrote:Actually, I haven't taken the LSAT yet. I'm using the 159 as a early predictor (haha?). But I am taking it in October and have begun my prep work along with a three month testmasters course coming up in July. I live in NYC and these are some of the schools i would like to have as safety schools.
i answered your question. out at all of them, except MAYBE nyls.LionelHutzJD wrote:and you dont think i feel like absolute SHIT after my shitty december performance? dont gotta rub it in BRAH
you might get a WL acceptance with the way applications are down this year. but i don't see you getting a straight admit, no.LionelHutzJD wrote:Definitely out at Albany? Really?

Yea, none of that matters. The LSAT is the most important piece of the puzzle and yours is beyond bad. You need to retake to have any shot at these schools, and then you need to think long and hard about the risks of attending them.LionelHutzJD wrote:Minus the LSAT score i have a solid application. 2 great LOR, a nicely written personal statement, and nice softs.

No, you can't 'always transfer.' You can only transfer if you're in the top 10%, and chances are that wont happen.LionelHutzJD wrote:mg7 wrote:I'll give you the advice that someone gave you in another thread you started - If you were PTing around 162, it'd be a much better idea to retake. I do think the experience IS what threw me off. That, and a ridic RC section being the first section. Idk man, i just dont wanna wait a year. and i can always transfer.
Exactly my point. The experience threw you off, so you now know what to expect. I understand you don't want to wait a year as it may feel like an extremely daunting task trying to figure out what to do with that year, but would you rather put off law school for one year to have the chance at less debt and a better job, or would you rather start now KNOWING that you could have done better? The second option sounds like a lifetime of regret to me - just saying.LionelHutzJD wrote:mg7 wrote:I'll give you the advice that someone gave you in another thread you started - If you were PTing around 162, it'd be a much better idea to retake.
