I know you're all going to say retake, but humor me and provide some insight please?
Senior at a Top 25 private university, double major, very strong softs, summer legal internships at global companies, very strong LORs, good PS, non-URM, blah blah blah..
Looking ideally to go to Loyola LA as I hope to live/practice in LA.
For what it's worth, my UG university happens to be a Catholic university that places grads into other Catholic universities' grad programs at a very high rate...Maybe that helps with Loyola?
Chances on:
Loyola
Pepperdine
Baylor
Michigan State
Suffolk
Catholic University
Thanks guys!

The only one of those schools that gives you a decent shot at LA is Loyola.. and it's still not that great. Think about the competition you'll be facing.. Berkeley, Stanford, UCLA, USC, etc.
Retake. Check my profile, I had a 159, retook, and I can assure you it was the best choice I've made regarding law school yet. Do it for yourself.
Regardless, best of luck to you!

Retake aside, how do you put my chances at Loyola this cycle? Does it help that apps are way down for a second straight year?

Your chances are decent (~50/50), but attending Loyola at [or near] sticker is a bad decision.

It helps for when you retake and apply to T14 schools that place much better in LA than Loyola. Otherwise,
enjoy your $260,000 of debt for a 42% chance to get a legal job.

Now for some friendly advice: if you get 165+ on a retake (which is highly do-able) you have a chance at USLA or USC, which are perfectly fine options for LA

This this this.
Going to any of these schools without a full-ride would be a truly terrible decision. Loyola LA is a particularly terrible school. Either retake or don't go.
