URM 2.95 164

Hi Everyone,

Mexican URM with double major (one in science) which killed my GPA. 5 Years work experience. Any suggestions on reach schools?

Thank you! Any of the top 20 more friendly towards URMs or splitters? Hoping the decrease in apps this year might make my chances a little better!

I don't think Cornell or Georgetown are "super" reaches as a URM with a 164...go for both!!

Thanks! This makes it easier to select those as my reach schools, before these posts all top 20 seemed impossible!!

This. I have a 163, and I got fee waivers from Columbia on down. Only about half were solicited.

There are a few users here who got into Northwestern with good WE despite low GPA. I think Desert Fox was 2.8/175 or so.

There isn't much data but people get waitlisted as high as Columbia. I'd blanket CCN and below. You'll get 1 T14 to bite this cycle. If not, I think one of USC/UCLA or Vanderbilt will be interested.
