3.92/159 - going to LS this fall, where is worth the app

Hey all TLS people south of the border,
I took a gap year after undergrad because I wasn't really dead set on LS until after the fall semester of my senior year and didn't have time to prepare for LSAT and get Apps in, etc... Anyways I was just on a golf scholarship in the states and I really wanted to go to a t-14 for LS (I am Canadian) mainly to create job prospects in some of the bigger centers like Boston/NYC and especially for the possibility of working abroad. I currently do sports management stuff in Asia and thought I would study for the LSAT, writing it in the only administration in China in December. As the subject line gave away, I bombed the shit out of it with test day nerves and writing it on a work trip, not to mention I did about 50% of the prep I wanted to. I was PT-ing in the upper 160's consistently and thought the extra pressure could put me into the 170's, and my fall back plan was go to a Canadian law school which still leaves open the possibility of passing the bar in Cali, NY, and Mass. post graduation.
I'm re-writing in February because a couple schools in Canada will accept that score for this cycle, but what I really want to know is if it is a total waste of money to throw in some apps in the t-14 with an addendum. I've pretty much been working 12 hour days, 6 days a week for 5 monthes straight which has severly limited my preparation, and I think the rest of my application is stellar, although add comms would probably just say sit out a year and give us a better score. The thing is, I've already taken one gap year which has been hard enough, and I don't think I could do another. I need to be engaged and passionate about where I invest my time and energy, and I'm not sure I can find osmething like that short term.
Props to anyone who gets through that long winded post and I do appreciate any respones.
