Main interest is Texas law school with $$
Is this possible for this cycle?

You have a good chance at Chicago and NYU on down, so you might want to set your sights a bit higher. Applicants with similar numbers reported scholarships from Chicago, Berkeley, UVA and Michigan.
This being said, you're a lock at Texas with some scholarship.

Thanks for the responses. I will probably apply to a good number of the T14 to try to negotiate $$ since I'm very risk adverse going to law school with the present market.

You will get multiple T14 acceptances, probably with some scholarship money, and will be able to play schools against each other to match/increase their scholarship amounts. In addition, make sure to keep in mind the increase in placement as you increase in the rankings when you're considering your risk calculation.

Thanks for the advice. I have done lots of research using lawschooltransperancy and the like. I just wasn't thrilled not hitting median of some of my targets with the Dec score.
