You have a very solid shot at UMich RD. I know people who got scholarships with similar stats as you. I'm not sure if it has gotten less competitive or theyre are just fewer admissions with the falling number of LSAT takers.

Here's how people with your numbers have done in recent cycles: http://myLSN.info/q3rk0f.

Here's how things would look with a 172 (though it is getting late in the cycle): http://myLSN.info/6dgj6o.

That's a cool tool I hadn't seen before, thanks.

Is there any sort of consensus on how much ED/legacy affect things for law school?

Other people here will be able to speak more specifically to ED at different schools, but I can tell you that the effect varies significantly between schools. I believe ED would give you a pretty strong boost at Penn (since you're above one median and below the other), but the consensus is that an ED app has a minimal impact on chances for Columbia, for instance.

Every school weights the legacy influence differently, and I have no idea how Penn handles it.

LSN shows that you have a 50% chance at NYU and a small chance at YSH CC (10-20%). It depends on your risk calculation between NYU and Penn on whether you want to EDII to Penn. You also have to consider scholarship implications of EDing to Penn.

Congrats! Those two points will make a hell of a difference in your cycle, as I'm sure you know.
