Hi Everyone:

I have a 3.55 GPA, a 163 LSAT.
URM- AA (even though I'm also half white)
I'm also LGBT and Jewish (Although I know those don't factor in nearly as much, if at all).

What are my chances for the following schools?

Columbia
U Chicago
NYU
U Penn
Virginia
Duke
Michigan
Georgetown
Cornell
Illinois
Ohio State
Northeastern
Michigan State
U Pittsburgh
Boston U
Case Western

Thanks!

I wish I had your immutable characteristics. I'd be at Yale. Fuck. Why couldn't I just be black and gay?

Don't even bother applying below Cornell, unless the prospect of debt scares you enough to where you might take a regional school over a T14 with money.

You seem hypersensitive.

You'll get a substantial scholarship to a top 14 and you have a good shot at HYS. I would stick with one of those 2 options. If you don't go HYS (or don't get in) go to the top 14 that offers you the most money but is also located where you want to practice. In your case I don't think there is really a need to go outside of the top 14.

Yeah, but that's not immutable. That's because I am a lazy POS. It gets me no admission or jerb bonus points.

Do you know anything about URM admissions? A 163 Black male with a 3.5 will probably get into Harvard with a good essay and certainly a non HYS top 14 with a scholarship. Even moreso now with the ways apps are down.

MyLSN has him out at HYSC, 50% at Chicago, and a low to decent shot at NYU on down. I know being AA helps more relative to other minorities, but MyLSN only shows 1 URM with his stats getting into HYS in the past 3 years.

See: http://myLSN.info/sbzayz

LSN shows that he'd need to bump his LSAT to a 165-167 to put HYSC into play.
