Chances of Acceptance to Albany Law

I'll try to make this simple. I obviously want to know what people think my chances are of acceptance to Albany Law.

GPA: 3.48
LSAT: 150
Ethnicity: Korean
(For the sake of something semi standard) Personal Statement: GOOD
Extracurriculars: Public Relations Director of Pre-Law Association
Member of campus Taekwondo club
Employment: Worked 3 jobs this summer/fall.
Internships: Non profit and District Attorney's Office
Recommentation Letters: 1 from Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, other from District Attorney (alumni of Albany Law)

I know my LSAT score is quite low, that was with me trying my very best (truly) studying for like a year and a half by myself. But what about the other things? Does that raise my chances in spite of my low score?

Last year someone got in with a 150/3.1 and a 151/3.58. No one over 3.4 was denied. You probably will get in.

EDIT: My wife works at a staffing company in Albany...she sees Albany Law grads all the time who come in looking for temp work because they can't find anything else

Less than half of Albany graduates become lawyers. Please do more research before you pay A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS for this piece of paper.

You should probably pick another career. Sorry but it's the harsh truth.

I had a 162/3.8 gpa and went to a much higher ranked school than Albany, and my job prospects are not good. Most of us just are not competitive enough to get a good job in this field. You need to get into a T20 school to have better than a 50/50 shot of getting a decent legal job. I'm looking at a 40% chance; a school like Albany its probably 30% or less.

Could you share with us what you did in preperation for the LSAT?

There are excellent resources on this site, and owing to your decent grades in undergrad I dont see why you couldnt significantly improve your score, which would greatly improve your chances of eventually finding a job.

It does sound oversimplified, but re-take and reapply. You can do better.
