Top Law Schools

My LSAT is 157 and my GPA is a 3.6. Where should I apply? I prefer to stay East Coast. I already plan to apply to:

-Rutgers Newark
-Seton Hall
-Temple
-Penn State
-Cardozo

I'm sort of fumbling on application process because I've been travelling due to family emergency, but I do plan to apply this cycle. Where else do you guys think my numbers will get me into? And with $$?

Don't. Retake and apply next cycle. you have a real gpa. don't waste it

The correct answer is to retake. You will get into a few of those schools but with NO money.

There are only two on the list that MIGHT be worthwhile at sticker and that is a HUGE might.

Rutgers N. Same jobs as SH for half the price and actually a good deal for its rank.

Temple does pretty well in Philly assuming you have in state tuition it might be OK.

PSU, a mediocre school with no market to feed. (Temple and a few more do better in Philly and Pitt owns Pittsburgh.)

SH, WAY over priced.

Dozo at sticker? No no no and NEVER plus they are LSAT whores so you probably won't get in anyway.

The real answer is spend some time and actually learn how to study for the LSAT. Retake and get in the high 160s+++ THEN get into higher schools OR attend a lower one with LOTS of $$$

This is TLS, you will not receive any advice here that doesn't involve you getting into a top law school. Consequently, with your numbers, the only advice you will receive is "retake" because any other response does not get you into a top law school.

All of those problems are a result of too many lawyers... consequently even those who go to top law schools are part of the problem.

So going to a school that accepts a 156 is a good decision? And giving money to said school is good for law education as a whole and not a contributing factor to the way too many JDs out there? I may be a dick, but its still a stupid fucking move.
