What T-14 schools do I realistically have a shot at? I am not a minority and was wondering where, if anywhere, I should apply early decision.

Retake, ED UVA, et cetera. ibitall.

To be serious, though, the only reasonable shot you have with those stats is ED UVA. Even then, the odds aren't great if you aren't from VA.

As someone with nearly the exact same numbers, I highly suggest retaking. I really wish I had and had not wasted my GPA. If you can even get to 170, your odds increase tremendously.

I drastically over performed my numbers and ended up in the T-6. As is, you can probably get into some of the lower T-14, but without any sort of funding.

I definitely see the value of retaking it and getting a higher score, especially since I was testing in the low 170's consistently, but it would be my third attempt and I am not sure what impact that would have. Additionally, I have been told that if you plan on retaking it a third time it is best to take a year off. Thoughts?

please retake....

i (along with everyone else) would kill for your GPA. if you were PT'ing the low 170s, you're obviously capable of scoring so. a 172 gives you a shot at HYS (http://myLSN.info/g6sgc6). if that's not motivation, i don't know what is.

Is it best to wait to retake it or should I retake it in December and continue with this cycle of applications?

how much time can you dedicate to studying? would you be able to defer until next year i.e. do you have a job prospects etc?

there are a number of factor that go into answering that question

I would suggest that you only re-take in December if you have sufficient time in the next three weeks to get back into test-day shape. Otherwise, you run the risk of getting the same or even a lower score in December, which would be detrimental to your chances. And if this will be your third test, you then won't be able to re-take again for a while (depending on when you took your first LSAT).
