What if you're AT a median?

Obviously you want to be above medians as much as possible, but if, for instance, my LSAT score were right at the median of a school, is that roughly the same as being above? Below?

I think it would put you in a better position than it would have 3 years ago, because schools are more desperate to hang on to that LSAT median.

If the school is trying to maintain their previous year's median (which most schools will be doing, due to app decline) , then you would have the same positive effect of padding the median as someone above the median.
