Alright, not trying to be a dick. Curious as to my chance at $$$ and pretty well versed as my chances for admittance.
3.5/179
28 years old with some PT work experience in the 5 year break I took from school. Softs are average to below average. Grew up impoverished, but not URM.

In HS, you count yourself out but maybe at Y. Imagine you see money at all CCN and down.

I actually saw someone with similar numbers in

I constantly think this about rad lulz in chance threads. Doesn't he have better shit to do?

Not sure what the first half means. Wouldn't be too sure about the second. Chicago is tough to get in to with a GPA that low, and Columbia doesn't like to dole out cash at all. NYU will probably give you 50K.

For the record, I would listen to tiago giving chance advice if he was muttering in his sleep before my own advice, I was just trying to get ball rolling for OP with my limited knowledge. The first half means that he is in at Harvard and Stanford, but of course in an effort not to jinx OP and taking his gpa in consideration, H and certainly S is never a lock.

I can't imagine he'll get Harvard or Stanford unless there is some back story I'm totally unaware of. OP said he has potentially below average softs so I don't think I'm missing anything. Up until this year a 3.5/179 had pretty much zero chance at Harvard, and then this year the GPA floor seemed to soften a bit and a 3.5/178 got in. I still think we're a long way from Harvard being anything but a very long shot for people with GPAs around 3.5.

Yeah, over the past four years it looks like a reach, but with about 16% acceptance rate. I have fee waivers so I'm shooting for it anyway. I was more curious about $ at CCNPV (realizing that Chicago is hardly a lock).

You'll probably get a solid amount of money at V (20-30k a year) if you don't get stuck in WL hell. P will likely waitlist you. I imagine you'll pull off at least one of CCN, but you may not get any money and you may have to ride waitlists.

I didn't realize a 3.5 was that significant ( I do now)

Nice try. There is literally no one except Noodley who has a 3.50-3.59 and 178-180 on LSN. If you expand parameters to 3.4-3.60, you get one person.

Broaden the search from 3.4-3.6 and 177-180.
God you are a bunch of lazy fucks.

177 not representative of 179. 179 more impressive, rare. Also, I expanded paramaters from 3.4-3.69 and 177-180. Only one other person. How much is that going to tell him?

176 is the 75 percentile for Yale and Harvard. 177 is relevant for results.

Check the past years' results. Plenty of options to choose from.

I concede defeat. But after looking at the results, I think Noodley has a right to make a thread: for H, there was no clear trend. Sometimes people were accepted, sometimes WL accept, sometimes reject/wl reject. Also, when GPA is this low for H, I would assume that a 3.4 would be perceived as much different than a 3.5. Also, I would think that a 179 carries a lot more weight than a 177 because of medians: schools would be willing to take a GPA hit in exchange for an LSAT boost, and the more that boost the less the GPA hit hurts. So at best, I would say LSN gives a hazy picture of what Noodley can hope for. Thus he comes to TLS.
Sorry for polluting your thread, Noodley.
