162, 3.25 GPA which will be a 3.3 when I graduate in December. Average to below average softs. Non-URM. I was thinking I have about a 25% chance. Thoughts?

Also, if I were to wait until February and re-take and got a 165 would it be too late in the cycle to have a decent chance? GPA would be bumped up to about a 3.3.

Very little chance at Madison. Retake and don't worry about being late.

UW's median is 162, so I think you have a decent shot. IMO, Apply there now, but still retake. Hold off on applying everywhere you are below both medians.

I think I'm going to re-take in February. How much will it hurt me applying this late in the cycle?
