Started at 154 about 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks ago up to 157. 2 weeks ago 162. About 5 days ago 167. What is a realistic target score for me to be aiming for?

Currently working with a Kaplan tutor doing mastery assignments and drilling question types all week, then one practice test each weekend. My worst section is definitely RC, but crushing LG. What is a realistic target score I could potentially reach? I just like to look at my potential schools I could get accepted to once I burn out of studying energy for the night so I go spend time on sites like this.

Preparing for December LSAT btw so I have about 6 more weeks still.

Hoping to crack into 170's for test day and have a shot at UCLA/USC. GPA is around 3.4x, at best could get up to 3.5 by the time I'm applying (hoping to start school Fall 2014). So I know I'll be at the lower end of their GPA ranges, but hoping LSAt can make up for it. I'm planning on UCLA ED

I can't wait to get this exam finished....

You're target score should be a 180. You are on the right track. Lots of people have different strategies but if your LG is perfect now hit LR next. It is the second most learnable section of the test. Consider this LG -0 LR -3 (doable) and RC -7 is a 170+. Your RC will pick up a little if you just keep practicing too.

Oh and you need to start taking more PT. Ramp it up to two a week. and by early november 3. Tons of PT at the beginning bad. Tons of PTs at the end good.

And if you don't get a 170+ retake in June. You have time, and it seem like the focus, so there is no reason not too.
Great call! Ended up with exactly 170- LG -0 LR -3 RC -9!

I would not ED UCLA unless you have rich family paying your tuition and absolutely must be in LA for law school.
