Re: What are my chances?
Strongly consider retaking the LSAT. With you current stats there are probably no law schools worth attending out of the ones you are competitive for admissions at (unless you already have a job lined up after graduating law school). Drowning in debt and graduating law school without a legal job is a distinct possibility at law schools where you're currently competitive. The good news? The LSAT is a very learnable test and a high score can compensate for your lower GPA. I personally improved 19 points from my diagnostic score and I tutored/taught students who made similar leaps.

Note that that's not a good thing. Listen to Richie and retake. No law school cares about your résumé. Also, thisGator_Law wrote:Miami is probably the best school you can get into
is one of the silly things people who haven't done enough research on their prospective career tend to say. Especially with your numbers.bane4x wrote: I am not looking for scholarships, just admission.
To correct that, do the following:
- • Use the forum search to find threads about some of the schools a 3.3/156 will get you into and read what they say.
• Go to lawschooltransparency.com and look at the employment statistics and debt figures for those schools.
• Learn how legal hiring works (hint: it doesn't involve many of the things that can get you non-legal jobs).
• Read through the employment section of this forum and pay special attention to the people from T-14 schools who can't find work.
• Read through the LSAT prep section of this forum and realize that you can avoid the likelihood of financial suicide you learned about by doing the above by learning how to score a 170+ on a learnable test.
Because I'm curious, what conference did you play in?
