Think he has a great shot at NYU, Yale and Stanford are probably out don't know about H and CC. If I where him I'd just apply 3-14.

HYS are not out of play.
Blanket the T-14 and enjoy choosing between T-6 with $ and T-14 with $$$.

you really think he has a non-zero chance at Y and S with a 3.37 even allowing for the URM bonus?

Tell him to apply to all the T-14s, YSH included.

I thought the URM boost was only for the LSAT?

Yeah dude. He's an AA Male with a 172. There's easily enough of a chance to warrant shelling out $200 to find out. What's the worst that could happen? Can't spend the $200 on an XBox. The best? YS.

Pretty sure that's not true. Where did you hear that?

No.
If you are a URM at or above the median LSAT, you are way more valuable to the school than a reverse splitting URM or a URM under both medians.

This site is awesome! Thanks so much for the feedback everyone. I'll have to stop being lazy and get my own account.
Do you all think I could get BIG money/full ride from any T6/T14 schools?

The data set of comparable applicants is extremely small, but it suggests that you should draw a half-ride offer from at least one lower T14 and that you have a fair chance of a full-ride offer from a T14.
You should apply to every school in the T14.

What about AA males with 3.5 UGPA, a Masters, a PhD (top uni's) and a 163? Any hope for CCN, especially if he applies early? HYS are probably out

Eerily similar stats were made mention here:

Hmmm, either way, you should be provided with information in that thread to answer your question.

Whoa that other post is quite helpful but they have that clerkship thing (one of the replies says so) so that might make a huge difference.
Do my stats give me a serious shot as a black man applying to Chicago?
