3.0-3.1, 174
FYI I've already searched LSN, TLS stats, LSPredictor, searched "what are my chances" over and over again.
I've ALMOST made up my mind. What I need is a second opinion before I apply..
Chances RD and ED at:
Penn (what do you guys think about the 1st/2nd round ED? Will 2nd round give me less of a boost?)
NYU
Columbia
Chicago
HYS
Also
Any money at NU/GULC?
Thanks

Not in at HYS
Most likely not in at CC
Toss up with NP. Probably will ride a WL off.
Idk about money. No answer.

This seems right. The only chance at A little money is probably Northwestern and Georgetown. Georgetown being the more likely candidate. Do you have WE? If not then Northwestern is gonna be hard to get in to.VUSisterRayVU wrote:Not in at HYS

Yeah this was my thoughts exactly. Just wanted to make sure before I apply.
Still deciding if I should ED Penn or ED Columbia -> 2nd ED Penn

You're not getting any money at pretty much any of the T-14. Georgetown is notoriously stingy.
HYS are out. CCN are very likely out. My advice would be to ED Penn. Your chances of getting Columbia, ED or RD, are pretty much completely nil.

ED Columbia would be a waste probably. They don't accept people with GPAs below like 3.3 I believe. If you want one of CCN then your best shot is NYU with an ED App. I know they took a couple people close to your numbers off the waitlist. I think the options are ED NYU or ED Penn for you if want to ED somewhere.
UVA ED is always there as well if you want to get a T14 for sure though.
So you could do
ED NYU --> ED Penn 2nd Round --> ED UVA

Do you have any work experience? Your chances of even getting into NU are pretty slim if you're a K-JD.

Don't waste your money on app fees to HYS

Should probably toss one at Michigan, too. GPA might be just a bit too low for RD Penn, likely too low for any of the other, except NU, where you're not getting in unless you have WE. Forget about HYS.

This too. I neglected that in my first post. The GPA will be a problem at Penn and NYU. Nevertheless, there is the possibility of getting off a WL at one. Much better shot at Michigan and I think Northwestern is sort of being more lenient with w/e in light of ITEUnamSanctam wrote:Should probably toss one at Michigan, too. If you've really searched LSN to any real extent, why are you even asking about YHSCC?
You have a very small shot at NYU. Your best shots in the T14 are UVA, NU, and GULC. As a splitter, you are unlikely to receive much money at any of them. Of course, given that schools will be especially desperate to maintain LSAT medians this year, something unusual could happen, but you shouldn't count on it.

Re: 3.0-3.1, 174
I do have 1 year WE.
I know I have a VERY small chance at Columbia, considering numbers alone.
However, I have a GPA addendum (medical) for freshman year (~2.0 GPA), an upward curve, hard science major.
I know it's a small boost but combined together, does that change much?
More importantly, is Columbia really worth the ED and taking the risk of NOT ED-ing Penn/NYU?
