Looking to get some advice on whether getting into a t-25 school is even a possibility.
Background:
Went to T-4 law school a few years ago but didn't do well the second semester because of family health issues and was academically excluded. Since then I've gotten my Masters in Accounting and have been working at a Big 4 Accounting firm for about two years. Ive retaken the LSAT and gotten a 176, previous LSAT was a 155 with a 2.8. Masters GPA was a 3.8, although it doesn't matter as much since they are inflated, but I did go to University of Texas for it if that matters.
Do I have any chances at a decent school to make it worth applying?

Sample size is tiny, but LSN shows one user with 2.8/176 accepted at Northwestern and Georgetown and WL-Accepted at Vanderbilt and UVA, and another who was WL-Accepted at UVA with 2.8/173.
I think with your work experience, you definitely have a shot at great schools.

Wouldn't being previously excluded from law school severely hinder my chances at being admitted to Northwestern or any other T-14?

Are you certain that you wouldn't have to apply as a transfer student at this point? (Not sure of the rules on this myself.)

I don't know how that affects your chances, so I leave that to someone more knowledgeable to answer. But as for your question about whether getting into a top-25 school is a possibility, I think that, at least based on your numbers, it definitely is, as seen by people with similar numbers even getting into NU and UVA.
