You can probably get lower t14 (NU with WE, UVA ED, maybe Georgetown) with a 170. 173+ opens up a lot more doors, but really once you make it over the median LSAT, no harm in applying except at the really splitter unfriendly schools (BERKELEY)

Your best bet if you're a 169/170 is Michigan ED but it's still a major longshot. If you can get 171 you'll start being able to roll the dice RD at other T14 schools. If you can manage a 172+ a T14 will probably bite. UVA ED isn't going to bite unless you have something weird going on (like VA residency) and several points more on the LSAT. If you do not retake, you will not break the T14.
