What's my shot here? From everything I see it will be about 50/50.

Edit: Chances at University of Richmond as well? This one I'm having a harder time gauging.

As a white male under both medians, you have much less than a 50/50 shot. More like 25/75.

A 164 would probably get you in though.

Youre a near lock at Richmond.

You'll get Richmond but it may not be at a good price. Consider retaking you have a solid gpa

What would be a good price?

Looks like youre probably looking at a 60k scholly from Richmond, bringing tuition down to about 15k a year. That is a good price for Richmond, IMO. Anything over that is probably over paying. When you factor in COL, youre at around 90k. Over 100k at Richmond seems like too much.

I would definitely jump on Richmond for 90K in debt, if I got a 60K scholly.

You have to add interest and loan fees to the 90K. Will tuition rates increase for 2L and 3L? Will you start with zero debt? If not, what will the total debt level actually be when you graduate? Will you be able to service the debt on a small firm salary?

I don't think 90K is unreasonable without being in biglaw, do you?

Better stats and I was rejected.

You ignored the point. I don't think 90K would be unreasonable on a small firm salary, especially if you lived in a home/apt. with multiple incomes. But, will your total debt at graduation be 90K? It would be a mistake to not consider everything - interest, current debt, etc.

Current debt is zero. Of course there is interest with a loan - but that goes without saying for any loan amount. I don't think anyone sees X dollar value for a loan at face value, unless they don't understand how loans work.

I mean, if you can graduate law school with less than 100K in actual debt, then you're ahead of the curve there.
