Odds at Berkeley

I'm going to lay it on the line.
My GPA for the past 2 years is 3.8
My GPA at community college was 3.33
Cumulative is 3.6
I have strong recs, come from a very low-income family, and am North African (which is not African American (not black), keep in mind, but it will add diversity to the school).
If my LSAT is 168, do you think I can get in to Berkeley? What about if I get a 170?

You'll have a shot if you make it to committee review. Make a baller PS.

Berkeley is tougher than most top schools to predict, and I can only imagine this trend will continue during what should be a crazy next cycle. You really need to focus on nailing your LSAT and making your PS absolutely flawless, as your cumulative GPA is on the lowside for them.

If you're North African, you're still considered African-American. I am half Algerian and considered AA.

If you get a 170 on LSAT, it helps and while Berkeley was a go-to public law school who once had those who went through garden variety public K-12 and public universities, they are more in the category (or close to) of a Harvard or Yale with lifelong prep school and private college applicants. Of course this could be said of many Cal grad programs. Cal is more like Stanford as a school than the other public universities in the state.
This raises the bar somewhat higher for a Berkeley vs. a UC Davis (which is still an excellent law school). There is no magic formula, but post 3.5 GPA and 170 is a good start for very top law schools. As unfair as this seems, the LSAT is usually a bigger factor than GPA. Some schools are notorious for grade inflation so the LSAT, while not a perfect test, is a more of a level playing field.
Here's an LSAT breakdown of all the ABA law schools, including the usual top 4, their versions of top 10, top 14, and everybody else. Berkeley is high on this list and as far as I have followed them, Cal has been between #10 through #20 on the list thus making a 160 a long shot.
FUCK I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THIS SPAM
What is this I don't even.
