Not worth it to apply as you are now: http://myLSN.info/dispresults.php?sk=s2vp3

And a semester of a 4.0 won't help you *that* much. Much easier to bump up that LSAT and make a significant change than a few hundredths or a tenth of a GPA point going to get you in.

A lot better with better LSAT http://myLSN.info/dispresults.php?sk=youer

vs just bumping up the GPA without any LSAT change. http://myLSN.info/dispresults.php?sk=e3ahw

Go study!

You wont get in now. That's pretty clear. If you hit your PT average you might get a bite from Cornell. Maybe.

That's about it though. Good luck on the October test!

Well if I don't improve then I might as well just ED to every T14 that allows ED right? I mean screw it...

You can only ED to one school at a time. But still, probably not worth the app fees. You're not getting into any T14 schools with a 158.

One year of playing a sport won't help you. Four years wouldn't have helped that much.

Oh this really sucks. Still would have liked to have played for four years. It's been a drag... all those sleepless nights spent cooped up in the library maintaining a good GPA... Some day I'll look back and think of what could have been of my college years.

OK well I'm not going to go into hypothetical LSAT situations but let's say slight increase in Oct and take maybe two years off to work while waiting for the legal economy to recover and graduating with my LSDAS at above a 3.55? Would NU be a possibility then?

Dude... I gotta go T14 :P
To be honest I know nothing about URM admissions, but you'll probably find some good advice in this thread http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... 4&t=193620. Also, if you're going to take two years off, why take in October? You could be well served by taking it at a later date and scoring higher.

As for NU, know that you'll need to have stats good enough to get in RD because of their full scholarship for ED admits.
