Hi all-

Im taking the LSAT in October. I am wondering how much my GPA could make up for an average LSAT. Do i have a chance at a T14 if I cant break 165??

I am also non-URM and have decent/good softs.

Thanks!

Where's that damn flowchart when you need it...bah, short version:

Go take the LSAT, then come back and ask. Assume 171+ for good T14.

Don't assume anything.

Just prepare as it is the most important thing in your life, and take the test. Do not think that you need to score a 171+ to crack the T-14. Just do your best.

When you get the score, apply widely, and evaluate your options. If you do not like your options, re-take.

OP, I can understand the neurosis that comes from wanting to know that if you get X score you'll get into Y school, but honestly you need to stop worrying about that for the time being. You need to put 100% of your energy into getting a 170+ LSAT score. This isn't saying that if you get something less you're locked out of the T14, but it's pointless to give you arbitrary numbers as benchmarks for your success at this point.

You need to study for the LSAT as best you can and aim for the highest score possible.

But, if you're still all nervous about it http://www.lawschoolnumbers.com and http://www.lawschoolpredictor.com are places you should visit.
