Hey guys,

OLSAS GPA: 3.95/4.0 (first three years), 3.975/4.0 (best two years [2nd and 3rd])

LSAT: 163

Classical History student at UWO going into fourth year. Just got my score back and am looking for some feedback regarding what schools are realistic for me. I have (I think) strong extra-circulars—I am a News Editor at the UWO Gazette, the largest student paper in Canada, and the only daily. It's about a 35-40 hour a week commitment. Will have good reference letters from profs.

How do I look for Osgoode and UofT?

Unfortunately, the Ontario GPA (OLSAS) system and the American system (LSDAS) are very different. Most of my marks are 90-92, which in Ontario is a 4.0/4.0 but in the states is a 3.67/4.33. So unless I've gotten something wrong it looks like American schools are out for me.

The US system, although recognizing A+ (4.33), is also thought of as a 4.0 system. Your US numbers of 3.67/163 are unlikely to generate a Top 14 acceptance although Cornell is worth a try.
