Out @ T18. Decent shot at splitter friendly schools like UMN and WUSTL. Your post is too broad. Where do you want to practice?

How many times have you taken LSAT? If you can retake and get 3-5 more points you could get into GULC or Northwestern

I'm open to practicing anywhere.
I've taken the LSAT once over 5 years ago, and once in Dec 2010. Before that I cancelled twice.
On PTs I'd get between 165-169. So I felt the 167 was basically reflective of my ability. I self-studied, though Im a bad self studier. (Used PS bible and lots of PTs).
I'm open to retaking but scared I could score the same or worse, hurting my cause.
Any more thoughts? Thanks for the feedback so far.

Retaking in October wouldnt hurt your chances, even if you drop a few points. If you have not read this, it should help

You really have some sort of shot pretty much everywhere outside the T18. Splitters cycles are unpredictable, so you should definitly cast a wide net.

Thanks for the comment and link.
I have seen it said in this forum that if you retake and improve, your lower LSAT score really doesn't matter to schools. USNWR ranking rules since 2010 allow schools to just report the highest score, so thats basically what they do. Is this correct?
Secondly, does this also imply that getting a slightly lower score wouldn't matter either, since schools would still take my higher score for admissions purposes?
